OPEN CALL for MEXE 2021 in Portugal!

Community theatre company A’Pele from Porto, Portugal, produces every two years the community performance festival MEXE that ICAF is proud to be associated with. There is an open call for applications right now. In the coming edition, MEXE celebrates its 10thanniversary. In the past ten years MEXE has become an international point of reference in the field of community arts. Like last year, this edition will also have a second location in the city of Viseu (Portugal).All together the five previous MEXE festivals had a total of 1600 participants from 22 countries, and more than 25,000 spectators. They facilitated 200 activities that occupied 47 different spaces of the city of Porto. 

The theme of this coming festival is ‘THE RISK’. You can submit your theatre, dance, circus, architecture, photography, new media or visual arts project proposal until December 4th.Download the terms and conditions here: https://www.mexe.org.pt/en/
