Movisie Filmfestival

 Vote for your film!

The second edition of the Arts and Culture for your Neighbourhood festival invited all organisations involved in community arts to send films of their projects before February 1st, 2011. The films are short and inspiring impressions of arts and culture projects that positively affect a community or neighbourhood. The festival offers opportunities to highlight successful community arts projects and even to win a prize. The festival is organised by MOVISIE and the International Community Art Festival (ICAF).

Video material for the Arts and Culture for your Neighbourhood festival could be entered in two categories:
- Films on arts and culture projects which have contributed to the quality of life and social cohesion in a particular neighbourhood and clearly demonstrate the project's intentions.
- Films that are the product of a neighbourhood arts and culture project.
Votes for the best films in these categories can be entered at this website from 22 February to 25 March 2011.

The winners will be announced on April 1st 2011 at the ICAF in Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam. The best films in the two main categories will receive € 1000. In both categories a public prize of € 500 will be awarded. About 30 attendants of the award ceremony also have the possibility to participate in five selected workshops which are part of ICAF. For information please contact Harry Mertens h.mertens@movisie.nl.
