Luc Mishalle Wins ECF Princess Margriet Award

Luc Mishalle, artistic director of community and urban music organization Met-X in Brussels, is one of our main guests at this year's ICAF.  Two projects of Met-X, Marockin' Brass and Fanfakids, will be featured on different days of our festival. We just heard that Luc has been awarded the ECF Princess Margriet Award 2017. This prize, organized by the European Cultural Foundation, is a platform for showing those whose creative work can truly make a difference to Europe’s varied societies, underlining ECF’s belief that social and political change requires artistic and cultural engagement. We couldn't think of a better person than Luc to be honoured in this way for all the amazing intercultural work he has done across the diverse communities of Brussels and many places beyond. Many congratulations, dear Luc. We look forward to having you soon with us at the next ICAF.
